Parts Warranty

Limited Warranty Statement:

(a) Ricoma International Corporation (“Ricoma”) warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) months from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”), excluding consumables such as bobbins, bobbin cases, rotary hooks, needles, filters, data cables, dampers, in-stacks, and printer heads.

(b) Except for the express warranty outlined above, Ricoma makes no other warranties, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

(c) This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. It is non-transferable and does not apply to any subsequent owners or users.

(d) Ricoma will not be responsible for any warranty claim unless all of the following conditions are met:

• A Return Authorization Form is submitted along with photos of the product and proof of original purchase (e.g., invoice or receipt) within the Warranty Period.
• Ricoma is provided a reasonable opportunity to review the documents and photos.
• The product is returned to Ricoma upon request.
• Ricoma verifies that the product is defective.

(e) This limited warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

1. Shipping or transportation
2. Improper storage
3. Misuse or incorrect operation
4. Failure to follow provided instructions or perform preventive maintenance
5. Unauthorized modifications or repairs
6. Normal wear and tear
7. External causes such as accidents, abuse, or environmental factors beyond Ricoma’s control

(f) Subject to all terms and conditions above, Ricoma will, at its sole discretion, replace any confirmed defective product during the Warranty Period.

(g) The remedies stated above shall be your sole and exclusive remedy, and Ricoma’s entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty.

(h) Under no circumstances shall Ricoma be liable for loss of use, revenue, profit, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, regardless of the cause or legal theory—even if Ricoma has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

(i) Ricoma’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow time limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
